The objective of EL/Civics Online is to prepare adult education ESL teachers and volunteers to successfully integrate EL/Civics content into their ESL classrooms. This will allow adult students to improve their English, increase their knowledge about the United States, become more active members of their communities, or prepare to become U.S. citizens.
